Bhubaneswar - Odisha Eco Tourism

Magnificent sculpture, rich architectural heritage of Puri, Konark and Bhubaneshwar forms the ‘golden triangle’ of East India. The existence of Jainism and Buddhism in the area is evident from the archeological remains at Dhauli and hills of Udayagiri and Khandgiri. Due to construction of numerous sandstone temples between 7th and 12th century the place earned the title of ‘the city of temples’.

Connectivity: Biju Patnaik International Airport at Bhubaneswar is located about 6kms from the city centre and connects the city with rest of the country by air. Bhubneswar is the divisional HQ for the East Coast railways and offers regular trains from major cities to Bhubneswar. The bus station is 8kms from the city and is well connected to other major cities of the country via regular buses.
