PHULBANI

Phulbani is palisade with hills, virgin forest; lofty waterfalls prominent among them are Katarmal waterfalls (31 kms), Putudi waterfalls (18 kms), Pakdajhar waterfalls (19 kms), Urmagarh waterfall (21 kms) and offers a rich flora and fauna. The farm at Phulbani is engaged in research activities on Odisha Horticulture and silk moths, known for production of turmeric and diverse variety of Guava plants.

‘Mandasaru Valley nature camp’ managed by women SHG. Earlier was developed as day tourism centre now it is engaged in providing room service, catering and guide services. Phulbani nature camp is at a distance of 4 kms from Phulbani with five well furnished AC suites with double bed, attached bathroom and dining facility.

How to reach: Phulbani is situated at a distance of 211 kms from Bhubaneswar and 165 kms from Berhampur. Rairakhol the nearest railway station is at a distance of 100 kms.
